A photograph of the harsh arid landscape of the Richtersveld. At first glance it doesn't look like a "hot spot" of biodiversity, but looks can be deceiving. The Richtersveld just became a "World Heritage Site", due to abundance of unique fauna and flora that is found only here.

"I am a 3D VFX Supervisor working in the Film and Television visual effects and animation industry. Animation is not my only passion. South Africa is a beautiful country with an average of 320+ warm sunshine days a year. I try and spend as much time possible outdoors, and love photographing nature for inspiration.
